DreamHost allows existing customers to offer substantial discounts when they refer new customers. This is done by using special DreamHost Promo Codes, also called DreamHost Coupon Codes. When a new customer signs up for a DreamHost hosting plan, they simply enter the promo code during the sign-up process and the plan cost is slashed.

DreamHost recently reduced the maximum discount available for referrals to $50 instead of the previously available $97. This change affects all DreamHost promo codes without exception.

Promo Code: NotDream

Unlike a lot of other Promo Codes, the code above gives the maximum possible discount on all DreamHost plans.

The requirements/policy for using a Promo codes are:

1. Only new customers are able to use promo codes.

2. A Domain can not be setup on an promo plan if the domain was previously setup on Dreamhost system.

3. Promo codes can not be retroactively applied to accounts or changed to another promo code after the initial sign-up process.

4. Promo code credit cannot be cashed out, refunded, or transferred to another account.
